The much anticipated arrival of the second act in the Kaleidoscope in Three Acts - A Midwinter Night's Dream will be released for sale on March 16. Titled The Gathering, the second act in this very limited production kaleidoscope series will be available on a first come, first served basis. There are a very small number being produced in 2012, with the remaining numbers in the edition of 200, available in early 2013. This is a Collector's Treasure. Reservations for particular numbers available!

A limited edition of 25, Sojourn showcases the spectacular commissioned ceramic artwork of Michael Eastep and LeaAyne Wilmot of JuneBerry Design, along with Luc's every-evolving skill in flame-working, and the natural beauty of figured Western Maple. Custom made Macro-crystalline glazed panels in beautiful contrasting blue and amber are encased in maple with a subtle tint of amber in its lacquer finish to complement the title. Wood accents are maple burl and birdseye.
The large three dimensional images combine Luc's exquisitely detailed glasswork with ceramic crystalline panels cut and sculpted with a diamond ring saw, to create a rich organic blend of color and texture. Sojourn also features Luc's new custom designed and fabricated spring and ball bearing turning mechanism. This design allows effortless turning of a large object case while providing a front window into the chamber whose front panel is sealed from dust and finger prints.
Our preferred lighting is a small desk lamp with an adjustable arm, directing the light source through the side wall of the chamber.
